Can my website content be translated into another language?
Currently, we do not offer an automatic translation feature for your website. This is something you will need to do manually.
To offer your website in two or more languages, you can duplicate the original website and then manually translate the content of the new version.
How can my website have a custom domain?
To get a custom domain for your website, use our domain search feature in the My Account > Domains section. Once you find the perfect domain, you can make your purchase.
After publishing your website, you can connect your new domain by going to Website > Domains > Add Custom Domain and selecting Use My Purchased Domain Names.
Where can I find the "Add Custom Domain" option?
To find the "Add Custom Domain" option, you must first publish your website. Once published, navigate to Website > Domains > Add Custom Domain.
How can I connect the domain I purchased to my website?
To connect the domain you purchased, first publish your website.
Then, go to Website > Domains > Add Custom Domain > Use My Purchased Domain Names. You will then be able to see and select your recently purchased domain.
How do I connect a domain I purchased from another provider to the website I created with you?
If you own a domain from another provider, first publish your website and follow these steps:
On your Websites page, select "Or Use Existing Domain" and enter your custom domain name.
Click CONNECT and copy the A record (address) that the system generates for you.
Go to your domain registrar's settings and paste the A record you copied.
Note: After completing these steps, it may take between 48 and 72 hours for the domain to fully connect.
Can I transfer a domain purchased from a third party to you?
At this time, we do not transfer domains purchased from other providers to us.
However, you can connect your existing domain by selecting the "Or Use Existing Domain" option in the "Add Custom Domain" section. This allows your domain to continue being managed by your third-party provider while pointing to the website you created with us.
How do I connect the domain I purchased from you to a third-party website?
To connect a domain you purchased from us to a third-party website, you will need a set of DNS records ("A", "CNAME", etc.) from your third-party provider.
With these records in hand, you can enter them by following these steps:
Go to My Account > Domains > Actions > Manage.
You will see the option to "Add New Record".
How do I make my website visible on Google?
After your website is published, you can improve its visibility on search engines like Google by filling in the SEO Settings fields. Use language directly related to your business and the keywords that potential customers might use to find you. Including your brand name in these fields can also help your website rank higher.
A Note About Search Rankings and Visibility
It's important to remember that improving your website's search ranking takes time. Google needs to index newly published pages, and your website will be competing with others using the same keywords. Adding more online links that point to your website can help index it more quickly.
We cannot guarantee when or where your website will appear in search results.
Can I transfer my domain to another registrar?
ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) requires domain providers to lock most domains for 60 days after they are registered or transferred. During this time, the domain cannot be transferred to another provider.
If your request is made within 60 days of purchase: It is not possible to unlock your domain. We will be happy to help with the transfer once this 60-day period ends.
If your request is made after 60 days of purchase: Our team can unlock your domain and provide the authorization code needed to complete the transfer.
